Cloud Core & IP Expert

Overview

As the Cloud Core & IP expert at Nokia, you'll be part of a team focused on the operation and maintenance of our Cloud Core data centres and routing protocols including BGP / OSPF / ISIS and MPLS. Your role is essential in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our data center network operations while providing vital support to business units for their daily operational queries. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Oversee daily system monitoring to ensure integrity, availability, and performance of Cloud Core Servers, Switches & IPMPLS hardware, server resources and key processes, with an understanding of networking technologies like Software Defined Networking, routing protocols including BGP / OSPF / ISIS and MPLS VPNs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to maintain operational stability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including installation procedures, runbooks, and network topology diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business needs and support incident response efforts.
• Ensure accurate documentation of configurations, changes, SOPs, RCA reports and network topologies.
• Drive resolution of high-impact incidents and outages in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure all change activities are well-documented, tested, and rolled out in maintenance windows.
• Develop automation solutions through scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash) to enhance system administration efficiency.
• Participate in ISO / ITIL / ISMS processes as required.
