The Equipment Coordinator supports store operations by managing kitchen and safety equipment needs. This includes budgeting, coordinating installations for new and renovated stores, overseeing preventive maintenance, and ensuring staff training on equipment and safety procedures. The role also involves working with Procurement and Finance to handle shipments and asset documentation. Responsibilities
Help estimate kitchen equipment budgets for stores. Coordinate equipment needs for new store openings and renovations. Monitor store operations to ensure preventive maintenance is followed. Check safety and fire equipment; suggest replacements if needed. Support training on kitchen equipment and fire safety with relevant teams. Work with Procurement on equipment shipments and stock levels. Oversee equipment setup (commissioning) in stores. Handle equipment handover documents and update Finance on assets. Conduct audits to check maintenance performance and staff knowledge. Review service providers’ performance quarterly and report to management. Requirements
2–4 years of experience in restaurant equipment management A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office System (Word, Power Point, Excel etc) Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering Strong organizational skills Good interpersonal skills Problem-solving ability Seniority level
