Overview

To lead on the various assigned verticals growth taking into consideration client’s and agency’s KPIs

Create synergies between the various assigned verticals to ensure efficiencies and the rest of the client's business

To lead on media strategy development and day to day operations

To manage efficiently resources assigned and grow the team capabilities (mentoring, training, leading by example etc.)

To improve the client relationship by mastering the ongoing communication & relationship (personal & the team members) and growing client’s business (proactively looking for solutions and ideas)

To build a client relationship where we are authoritative providers of sound and relevant communications advice.

To develop a client education & knowledge enhancement program in terms of media

Excellent grasp of communications strategy with a full understanding of how advertising works and key advertising principles

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of media plans across multiple clients and industries, taking into account both the client's and the agency's key performance indicators.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective media strategies.

Manage day-to-day client relationships and communications, including ongoing communication and relationship building to improve client satisfaction and grow their business.

Mentor and guide junior planning team members.

Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.

Represent the company in client and industry meetings and presentations.

Contribute to the overall business and strategic direction of the media planning team.

Play a role in shaping the overall direction and success of the media planning team.

Drive growth in various assigned areas of focus, utilizing cross-functional synergies to improve efficiency and support the client's broader goals.

Oversee the development and implementation of media strategies, including day-to-day operations.

Effectively manage resources and work to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members through mentoring and training.

Foster strong partnerships with clients through effective communication and relevant advice.

Develop educational programs to expand clients' knowledge and understanding of media strategy.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of communications strategy and advertising principles.

Qualifications We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and display a desire to learn. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, we would be ideally looking for someone who can ‘hit the ground running’.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has :

BS / MS degree in marketing or a related field

Proven working experience of 10-12 years of experience in media planning (online & offline)

Proven working experience in working in the sector relevant to the account

Proven ability to mentor and lead teams of planning managers. Strong organizational skills, team player, ability to multitask, and work under pressure.

Experience in business development, and industry representation.

Digital Certifications across the major platforms, including Meta (FB & IG), Google, Snap Chat, Twitter & TikTok, in addition to an in-depth understanding of industry developments & initiatives i.e. : commerce, Metaverse, NFTs, etc.
