Overview
Senior Specialist, Analytics at Modern Mills Company. The Senior Specialist, Data Analytics plays a key technical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization using SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade analytics solutions by leveraging data from SAP and non-SAP systems across all business verticals such as Procurement, Sales, Finance, Production, Quality, HR, and Supply Chain. The role combines strong data engineering capabilities with functional understanding to deliver accurate, actionable insights aligned with business goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and KPIs using BI tools such as Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR) and other enterprise systems to build analytical models in using SAP Datasphere.
- Develop data models, semantic layers, and data marts that enable self-service analytics for business users.
- Creation and maintenance of complex Data and Multi Actions, Story Input Masks and Dashboards
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, application owners, and data engineers to ensure end-to-end data pipeline integrity.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across multiple platforms.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including SAP HANA, SuccessFactors, SQL Server third-party APIs, IoT systems (for production), and Excel-based data.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable analytics solutions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand key metrics and provide insights that support planning, forecasting, and operational excellence.
- Provide data-driven support to business verticals such as Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all analytics solutions, including data dictionaries, logic explanations, and lineage diagrams.
- Establish and enforce data governance, access control, and role-based report delivery.
- Provide L2 / L3 technical support for BI tools and analytical platforms.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.5–7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles.Certification in any SAP Data toolsStrong technical knowledge of SAP data structures and experience extracting data from SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR).Hands-on experience with BI tools such as SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud etc.Proficiency in SQL, and data modeling techniques.Experience with data warehouse platforms (e.g., SAP BW, HANA, Azure Synapse, Snowflake) is an asset.Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain analytics in a SAP-implemented environment is highly desirable.What Sets Us Apart
