Senior Specialist Data Analytics

Overview The Senior Specialist, Data Analytics plays a key technical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization using SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade analytics solutions by leveraging data from SAP and non-SAP systems across Procurement, Sales, Finance, Production, Quality, HR, and Supply Chain. The position combines strong data engineering capabilities with business understanding to deliver accurate, actionable insights aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using BI tools such as SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR) and other enterprise systems.

Develop data models, semantic layers, and data marts to enable self-service analytics.

Create and maintain Data Actions, Multi Actions, Story Input Masks, and Dashboards.

Collaborate with SAP consultants, application owners, and data engineers to ensure data pipeline integrity.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of data across multiple platforms.

Integrate data from SAP HANA, SuccessFactors, SQL Server, IoT systems, Excel, and third-party APIs.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable analytics solutions.

Partner with stakeholders to define metrics and provide insights that support planning, forecasting, and performance.

Deliver insights for Sales (performance trends), Supply Chain (inventory aging), and Finance (margin analysis).

Document analytics solutions including data dictionaries, logic, and lineage diagrams.

Enforce data governance, access control, and role-based reporting.

Provide L2 / L3 technical support for BI tools and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

5–7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.

Certification in SAP Data tools (SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, or HANA).

Strong technical knowledge of SAP data structures with experience in SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR).

Hands-on expertise with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and BI dashboards.

Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL techniques.

Familiarity with data warehouse platforms (e.g., SAP BW, HANA, Azure Synapse, Snowflake).

Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain analytics in SAP-enabled environments is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
