The Project This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands‑on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub‑contract packages.

Responsibilities

Provides commercial leadership for specific areas of work & direction to team members.

Hands‑on end‑to‑end commercial role, from onboarding contractors to site to leading contract administration, execution and commercial management.

Manages a commercial team to achieve commercial KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Oversees cost control, valuations, and monthly post‑contract reporting.

Handles post‑contract management, package management, and commercial performance.

Evaluates claims, delays, and additional costs from contractors and subcontractors.

Directly interacts with clients, contractors and subcontractors to ensure delivery.

Supports net zero carbon transition and process improvements throughout project delivery.

Applies expertise in FIDIC contracts and payment mechanisms for post‑contract management.

Qualifications

Degree in quantity surveying / commercial management (or equivalent).

Professional membership i.e. MRICS (or equivalent).

Major project experience is essential.

Main Contractor experience £250+.

Consultancy experience £1bn+.
