Head of Sales Department – Solar Solutions Role Purpose
The Sales Head will lead the commercial strategy, business development, and sales operations to drive the growth of
Solar Tracker Solutions, Services, and Products
in the market. This role is responsible for shaping sales direction, building strong customer relationships, expanding market share, and ensuring profitability while aligning with the company’s vision and long-term growth objectives. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, policies, and plans aligned with the company’s overall vision and growth objectives. Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and potential partnerships to expand revenue streams. Establish market positioning by analyzing industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Oversee sales budget preparation in coordination with Finance and ensure adherence to operating budgets. Drive, monitor, and control regional business plans with measurable KPIs to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets. Define and manage pricing strategies, discount policies, and commercial terms to optimize profitability. Ensure timely receivable collection in line with customer credit terms while maintaining strong client relationships. Monitor and analyze sales reports, performance metrics, and pipeline forecasts to ensure sustainable business growth. Ensure strict compliance with Quality Management Systems and industry standards to deliver high-quality solutions and services. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture. Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide coaching for professional growth. Collaborate with HR to identify training needs, ensuring the team is equipped with technical expertise, product knowledge, and market insights. Promote innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity across the sales organization. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Provide regular performance reports, business reviews, and market insights to senior leadership. Build strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to enhance brand positioning. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to strengthen market presence. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (MBA from a reputed institution preferred). 20+ years of progressive experience
in sales leadership, with proven success in large-scale
projects, services, or industrial business environments
(Solar / Renewable Energy industry preferred). Strong expertise in
product, category, and channel management . Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deals and manage large accounts. Commercially astute with strong financial acumen and contract management experience. Excellent command of English (Arabic is an added advantage). Strategic Vision & Business Acumen
