Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to create realistic and achievable project schedules
Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays, risks, or issues
Provide recommendations and solutions to mitigate delays and ensure project schedule is on track
Conduct regular schedule reviews and progress meetings with project team members
Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders and project team members
Analyze project data and provide insights to improve scheduling and control processes
Train and mentor junior scheduling engineers on best practices and procedures
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on schedule status
Ensure compliance with project schedule requirements and contractual obligations
Continuously monitor and improve project scheduling and control procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling and control for construction projects
Proficient in industry-standard scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-pressure environment
PMP or PSP certification is a plus
