We are currently seeking a meticulous Administrator - Accounts Payable to join our finance team. This key role will focus on the efficient processing and management of accounts payable activities.
As an Administrator, you will be responsible for handling vendor invoices, managing payment processing, and maintaining accurate records to support our financial operations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for ensuring compliance and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the accounts payable function.
Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely updates in the accounting system.
- Assist in preparing accounts payable reports and metrics for management review.
- Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliation of accounts payable accounts.
- Ensure timely processing of payments while adhering to internal controls and financial regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in accounts payable management and regulatory changes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Effective communication skills for collaboration with vendors and internal teams.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced work environment.Benefits
