Job Summary

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Technical Specialist

is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solutions to meet the business needs of BinDawood Holding. This role involves working closely with functional team, business stakeholders, and IT teams to implement scalable and secure D365 applications. The specialist ensures seamless integration with other systems and contributes to the continuous improvement of enterprise resource planning (ERP) capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Software Development and Programming

Develop and maintain customizations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 using X++, C#, Power Platform and other essential tools. Create and modify forms, reports, workflows, and business logic within D365 Finance and Operations. Implement integrations using APIs, OData, and Azure services.

Requirements Analysis and Design

Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to gather and analyze requirements. Design technical solutions that align with business objectives and D365 architecture standards. Prepare detailed technical specifications and solution documentation

Code Testing and Debugging

Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and post-deployment phases. Use automated testing tools and DevOps pipelines for efficient deployment.

Software Maintenance and Optimization

Monitor system performance and apply updates, patches, and hotfixes. Optimize code and configurations for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Ensure compatibility with new D365 releases and features.

Collaboration and Documentation

Work closely with cross-functional IT teams and business teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment. Document development processes, customizations, and configurations. Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards.

Security and Compliance

Implement security roles and permissions within D365 to safeguard data. Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external regulatory standards. Apply encryption and secure coding practices to protect sensitive information.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

Provide technical support for D365 applications and resolve user-reported issues. Analyze and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures. Assist users with system navigation and functionality.

Continuous Learning and Improvement

Stay updated with Microsoft D365 updates, certifications, and best practices. Enhance skills through training, research, and collaboration. Introduce innovative solutions to improve ERP efficiency and user experience.

Key Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 (e.g., MB-500, PL-400) are a plus. Experience : 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development. Proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, Power Platform, and Azure services. Experience with D365 F&O, Supply Chain Retail modules and integrations. Familiarity with SQL Server, DevOps, and version control tools (e.g., Git). Skills : Strong understanding of D365 architecture and development lifecycle. Good understanding of grocery retail and supply chain business environment. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Time management and task prioritization in a dynamic environment.
