• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Windows Server platforms (AD, ADFS, GPOs, DNS, DHCP) and lead VMware ESXi / vCenter (or Hyper-V) virtualization environments.
• Drive automation for patching, provisioning, monitoring, and compliance checks using PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM / WSUS, and PowerCLI. Optimize resource utilization (DRS / HA).
• Lead DR failover / failback exercises for virtual workloads (RP4VM) and represent the Windows domain in DR tests, ensuring robust backup and recovery solutions.
• Implement security baselines (e.g., CIS), manage vulnerability remediations, and ensure system lifecycle compliance with standards like NDMO and NCA.
• Lead root cause analysis for major incidents across Windows and virtual environments, and mentor L1 / L2 team members.
• Oversee integration of virtualization with storage, network overlays, and backup solutions (e.g., Commvault).
