Client : Leading Defense & Aerospace Organization in Saudi Arabia

Contract Duration : 12 months (with potential for permanent placement)

As a Senior Supplier Development Manager within this organization, you will provide strategic leadership in ensuring the quality and readiness of our supply base for multiple New Product Development (NPD) programs. You will champion the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process with suppliers, internal manufacturing, and engineering teams to meet quality targets and ensure on-time PPAP approval. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of supplier readiness, such as ensuring 100% on-time PPAP, capacity studies, and Run at Rate assessments. Additionally, you will lead and develop a team of Supply Chain Managers.

Responsibilities :

• Drive Supplier Performance Improvement using Six Sigma tools to enhance quality, cycle time, and delivery reliability.
• Engage with C-level stakeholders to align on supplier development strategies.
• Coach and develop supplier personnel and internal teams on quality standards and processes.
• Manage documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Establish and monitor key supplier performance metrics.
• Collaborate on tiered supplier management strategies, including contracts, freight terms, lead times, SLAs, and electronic transactions.
• Lead KPI development and use data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Manage cross-functional projects to harmonize processes and improve quality management systems.
• Build and lead a team of Supply Chain Managers, fostering their growth.
• Develop operational plans and capability roadmaps.
• Contribute to building a global supplier development organization.
