Job Summary

We are seeking an Analytics & Strategy Manager to drive data-driven decision making and strategic insights across fintech and digital banking initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business strategy, or financial services consulting (with at least 3 years in fintech), along with a strong foundation in financial modeling, regulatory frameworks, and market research . This role combines technical expertise in analytics with strategic problem-solving to influence key business and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data-driven strategy development by analyzing complex financial and market datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and market research to support product and business decisions.
  • Translate analytical findings into strategic insights and actionable recommendations for senior management.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to enable real-time business intelligence.
  • Support product and strategy teams in scaling fintech and digital banking solutions across GCC markets.
  • Collaborate with compliance, finance, and product leaders to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks and business objectives .
  • Evaluate the impact of new initiatives (digital payments, lending, wealth management) through KPIs and performance analytics.
  • Apply AI / ML techniques in analytics (where relevant) to enhance predictive modeling and customer insights.
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business strategy, or financial consulting , with at least 3 years in fintech, digital banking, or related industries .
  • Strong background in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research .
  • Proven ability to translate complex datasets into strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong understanding of MENA / GCC financial markets and regulatory frameworks .
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Data Science, or related field ( Master’s preferred ).
  • Fluency in English ; Arabic strongly preferred .

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in venture studios, consulting, or investment banking .
  • Exposure to fintech analytics (digital payments, lending, wealth management).
  • Track record of supporting product or strategy teams in scaling financial products .
  • Familiarity with open banking, API-first ecosystems, or digital platforms .
  • Experience applying AI / ML in financial services analytics .
  • Knowledge of Islamic finance principles and Shariah-compliant product development .
  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent certification a strong plus.

    • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, R for data analytics.
  • Experience with BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, forecasting, and predictive analytics .
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of financial KPIs, risk models, and regulatory compliance analytics .
