Inventory Clerk

الوصف الوظيفيMinimum Qualification : High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Accounting, Logistics, or Supply Chain is an advantage). Experience : 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or retail store operations (hypermarket or supermarket background preferred). Experience using handheld scanners (PDTs), inventory software, or ERP systems. Computer Skills : Basic knowledge of MS Excel (data entry, VLOOKUP, stock sheet updating) and familiarity with POS and inventory modules in ERP systems like Odoo, SAP, Oracle, etc. Attention to detail High Numerical accuracy – Strong Physical stamina for lifting / loading – Necessary Time management – Good Communication (basic English / Arabic) – Preferred Teamwork and coordination – Required Knowledge of FIFO / FEFO methods – Essential Honest and trustworthy. Punctual and disciplined. Able to work under pressure. Willing to work early shifts, weekends, and during stock audits. Physically fit for manual stock movement and counting tasks. Certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain. Experience with barcode systems, PDT handheld devices, or RFID scanners. Knowledge of expiry and batch management for FMCG and food products. Basic understanding of health and safety, temperature control, and hygiene standards. Monthly Salary (Fixed basic + allowances). Annual Bonus / Performance Bonus. Job Title : Inventory Clerk
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Inventory Clerk to join our hypermarket team. The role involves managing product data entry, stock reconciliation, and clerical tasks related to goods receiving and inventory control. Candidates with prior experience in hypermarkets / large‑scale retail, strong knowledge of ERP systems, and exposure to multinational company (MNC) practices will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate product information in the ERP system.
- Verify and record all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper documentation.
- Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliation activities.
- Support receiving operations by checking invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
- Generate inventory reports and highlight discrepancies to the supervisor / management.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams for smooth inventory operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Maintain organized records for future reference and inspections.
- Receive and verify incoming stock with purchase orders.
- Perform daily stock counts, update stock records, and report discrepancies.
- Track product expiry dates, damages, and breakages.
- Label and organize products on shelves, racks, and warehouse storage areas.
- Conduct cycle counts and monthly / quarterly physical stock audits.
- Reconcile physical stock with system inventory.
- Monitor slow‑moving, fast‑moving, and out‑of‑stock items.
- Assist with stock transfers between branches or warehouses.
- Prepare daily reports such as Inward / Outward Stock, Adjustment, Expiry, and Damaged Stock Reports.
