Technological Innovations Group (TIG) is currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets for Crestron .
Crestron is the leading provider of control and automation systems for offices, schools, hospitals, hotels and more. The success of Crestron is based on a total commitment to delivering the highest quality product.
As a Business Development Manager , you are able to understand the technical side of our business and can translate this into a total Crestron design for our customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining good contacts with existing customers and finding new end-user prospects.
Job Description
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals, including new generated opportunities quota from end-user channel.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the existing end-user accounts as well as for new prospects, new projects and POCs.
- Prepare action plans for effective search of end-user sales leads and prospects — end users, consultants & architects.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with these partners and understanding their needs.
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Convert competitive business into Crestron solutions by offering a product shootout / Crestron POC.
- Provide weekly feedback to the Regional Director regarding performance.
- Minimum 10 customer visits per week + visit report and weekly feedback towards your Regional Director.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in sales, a real hunter, with a background in AV sales and Crestron products for a minimum of 3 years.Experience and knowledge of the AV market with good contacts in the top 10 businesses in your region.Negotiation skills and ability to establish relationships.Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.Able to work in a fast-moving environment.Creative, responsible and self-motivated.Commercial and technical mindset; be passionate about our product.Open-minded and a real team player.Key Competencies
