About the location Soon to be a premier luxury beachside destination, The Red Sea will span 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of Saudi Arabia. The Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, featuring an array of amenities including a yacht marina, golf, multiple restaurants and lounges, a spa, pools, and family-friendly and adults-only spaces. The development emphasizes sustainability and renewable energy, with conservation zones and a phased masterplan.
The Role Join the vibrant pre-opening team as Head Baker. You will lead bakery operations, creating artisanal breads, pastries, and baked goods that set the tone for memorable dining experiences. Your craftsmanship, creativity, and leadership will ensure guests are welcomed with warm, freshly baked creations that reflect Four Seasons’ hospitality.
What You Will Do
Lead daily bakery operations, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in bread, pastry, and dessert offerings.
Develop and execute innovative recipes, seasonal menus, and signature baked goods.
Train, mentor, and inspire a multicultural baking team to uphold Four Seasons’ culinary standards.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost controls for bakery ingredients and supplies.
Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with other culinary and service teams to enhance guest experiences.
Participate in menu planning for outlets, banquets, and special events.
Handle guest feedback with professionalism and implement continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Minimum 3–5 years of baking experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, or artisanal bakeries, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in bread-making, pastry, and dessert preparation with knowledge of global baking techniques.
From-scratch background in artisanal baking.
Creative flair and passion for innovation in the bakery field.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of ingredient sourcing, production planning, and cost management.
Food Safety and HACCP certification is preferred.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Fluency in English required.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
