The Payroll Operations Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and adherence to labor laws. The role involves developing and maintaining payroll systems, preparing bank uploads, and collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure seamless payroll, compensation, and benefits operations. In addition, this role contributes to compliance, regulatory reporting, internal and external audits, and provides insights to support workforce planning and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and adherence to labor laws.
- Develop and maintain payroll systems and procedures to streamline processes and ensure timely disbursement.
- Collaborate with Finance and HR to prepare payroll forecasts, budgeting insights, and reconciliations.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare bank upload files on a weekly / monthly basis.
- Ensure payroll, compensation, and benefits practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implement required adjustments.
- Conduct internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and oversee annual actuarial reports for compliance and accuracy in benefits reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on payroll costs, benefits utilization, and HRIS metrics.
- Provide insights into payroll and compensation data, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Support workforce planning and budgeting exercises with accurate payroll and compensation projections.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring timely documentation and compliance.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies, systems, and processes to ensure consistency across the organization.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar payroll management systems.2–4 years of proven payroll experience.Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll compliance, and compensation practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll / HRIS systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, and external auditors.Strong organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
