Position Overview The Electrical Repair Technician must diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicle electrical and electronic systems to OEM standards, ensuring safety, functionality, and factory-spec performance in areas such as wiring, lighting, infotainment, ADAS, and high-voltage systems. The Repair Technician will practice teamwork and follow standards to meet business requirements, assess vehicle defects, perform repairs including body alignment and part replacement, and use a variety of hand and power tools with attention to detail. The Role Lead, motivate, and manage a team of mechanical repair technicians, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety adherence. Provide technical guidance and support on complex mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. Ensure all repairs meet Lucid standards and warranty / safety requirements. Schedule and prioritize repair tasks to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and meet deadlines. Train new team members and develop ongoing skills to stay current with repair techniques and Lucid updates. Maintain records of repair work, parts usage, and equipment performance; report on team performance and repair trends. Follow industry health and safety guidelines; implement Lean initiatives to reduce waste. Foster an environment where every employee is valued and understands their impact on company success. Apply quality verification standards and control plans to ensure vehicle conformity and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with resources to align with customer requirements and vehicle audit references. Use OEM diagnostics tools and vehicle software to pinpoint electrical faults; read wiring diagrams and schematics. Repair, replace, or rebuild wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, modules, and actuators per Lucid specifications. Service ignition systems, starters, alternators, lights, HVAC controls, ADAS sensors, and immobilizer systems. Diagnose and service EV systems—battery packs, inverters, motors, charging equipment—with high-voltage safety. Perform software updates and battery health scans; document fault codes, repairs, parts, and time in work orders. Explain issues and preventive recommendations to supervisors for root cause analysis; follow workshop rules, PPE, and HV safety protocols. Ensure proper disposal of electrical components and workshop materials; maintain and calibrate tools and equipment. Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to troubleshoot design or recurring defects; support other repair functions when needed. Coordinate with OTA / Software teams for software updates and with repair flow for vehicle readiness; use Salesforce for vehicle tracking and records. Maintain cross-functional relationships with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments. Qualifications
Technical Diploma with 5 years’ experience in automotive industry or equivalent. English functional literacy; Arabic is a plus. Automotive / manufacturing / repair experience required. Strong ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams; good verbal and written communication. Ability to apply improvement / reaction plans to achieve targets; familiarity with OEM quality inspection processes and standards. Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills. Skills
Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Salesforce experience is a plus. Creative, energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized; capable of fast-paced work with attention to detail. Experience with Salesforce and Manufacturing Execution Systems is a plus.
