System Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated

Systems Engineer

to support and manage enterprise IT infrastructure components, including

VMware vCenter ,

Dell EMC Data Domain (DD Storage) ,

Veeam Backup , and

Active Directory (A.D) . The ideal candidate should also have a strong understanding of

networking concepts

and preferably hands-on exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role requires a high level of technical expertise and independence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain

VMware vCenter

environments, including ESXi hosts, resource pools, snapshots, and high availability configurations.

Manage and optimize

Dell EMC Data Domain (DD Storage)

systems to ensure efficient data protection and storage usage.

Configure and monitor

Veeam Backup & Replication

solutions to ensure reliable backups and fast recovery of critical systems.

Administer

Active Directory (A.D)

including user / group management, GPOs, OU structures, DNS / DHCP roles, and domain services.

Collaborate with networking teams to ensure proper configuration and integration of infrastructure across VLANs, firewalls, and routing setups.

Troubleshoot system, storage, and backup issues in production environments.

Monitor system health, capacity planning, and performance metrics.

Document infrastructure designs, configuration changes, and operational procedures.

Contribute to IT infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades across on-prem and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5 years

of proven hands-on experience in :

1- VMware vCenter / vSphere

2- Dell EMC Data Domain (DD Storage)

3- Veeam Backup & Replication

4- Active Directory (A.D) Administration

Relevant certifications are preferred ( VCP ,

VMCE ,

CCNA , etc...)

Strong knowledge of

networking fundamentals , including switching, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall rules.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent communication, time management, and documentation abilities.

Ability to manage tasks independently and respond effectively to incidents.
