Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a highly experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Project Controls for the MAS176 MDUWFP project. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of project control activities, ensuring that large-scale projects are managed effectively and delivered on time and within budget. You will lead a team of project control specialists, establish performance metrics, and work closely with other departments to foster collaboration and achieve project objectives. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project control plans and systems
• Lead and mentor the project controls team, ensuring high standards of performance
• Monitor and analyze project progress, preparing accurate forecasts regarding time and cost
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment of project objectives and performance metrics
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing detailed reports and updates
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in project controls
• Utilize advanced project management software for reporting and analysis
• Continuously evaluate project control processes for improvements and efficiencies
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
• At least 10-15 years of experience in project controls within the construction or real estate sector
• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale projects from inception to completion
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with project management software and tools
• Professional certification (such as PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls and planning, with a strong focus on large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, preferably in the sports or entertainment sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and cost control systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
• Experience working in the Middle East is a plus.
