Job Purpose The Logistics Services Advisor is responsible for the daily oversight and delivery of key service lines within the Community Services team, including material management, personal effects handling, and mail and courier operations. The Advisor manages the associated service contracts to ensure performance KPIs and compliance are consistently achieved and ensures these functions are delivered efficiently and in line with KAUST policies and procedures, and in adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Major Accountabilities
Oversee the daily operations of logistics services, including personal effects shipping, material management, and mail / courier services.
Ensure smooth execution of service operations by maintaining compliance with policies, addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly, and ensuring timely completion and successful implementation of projects, contract renewals, and bidding processes.
Oversee KAUST warehouse operations, including maintaining stock levels, refurbishment and disposal of furniture and assets, and monitoring all shipments.
Supervise house preparation in coordination with the Accommodation Services Department, monitor processing and fulfillment of personal effects shipping requests, and manage domestic, international, and internal mail & courier services.
Oversee service providers of Material Management, Personal Effects Shipping, and Mail & Courier Services to assure full-service requirements are delivered as specified and addressed promptly and effectively.
Manage service contracts by monitoring KPIs and ensuring compliance with performance standards. Ensure the accurate and timely submission of KPI reports required for issuance of work completion certificates.
Ensure timely submission of monthly invoices in the invoice management system.
Motivate personnel using organizational development practices to maximize productivity by emphasizing personal and career development and providing the tools necessary to perform job responsibilities.
Provide clear direction and guidance to team members and service partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and performance expectations.
Comply with environmental, safety, and operational standards, ensuring full compliance with approved regulatory standards.
Initiate improvement plans on team development and coaching.
Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date. Conduct process reviews for continuous improvement of service optimization and cost effectiveness.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned in the Logistics Services operations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Engineering or relevant degree with experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, or related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, material management & warehousing, mail or courier services, or supply chain management.
Management of contracts, including oversight of KPIs
Proficient in logistics software, inventory management systems, and the Microsoft Office suite.
