Paint Shop Production Manager role at Lucid Motors Middle East. Lead Paint Shop Operations teams to assure safety, people, quality, responsiveness, cost and environmental pillars, and maintain paint operation standards to guarantee best quality of paint appearance and performance. Effective communication with internal and external teams is required to deliver results and maintain a productive working environment. You Will
Develop the plan during project phases to train people and drive the organization to follow the plan, including training at every project stage and regular production training needs assessments to level up teams’ capabilities and skills Lead the execution of business plans and deliver annual performance efficiencies through a continuous improvement process Engage and motivate teams to enhance business results, meeting and exceeding corporate targets Demonstrate a sense of urgency and crisis management toward unforeseen circumstances Lead the paint shop team to achieve a balanced score card Set individual objectives for the team, monitor and track performance, and develop and motivate staff Participate in developing the section’s business plans and track tasks for timely completion Ensure the effective implementation of policies, procedures and controls; prepare the budget for the section and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring activities align with approved guidelines Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering productivity, quality and cost Drive periodic quality revisions on the shop floor and motivate participation across sections to resolve issues and improve first-time quality Ensure all personnel follow Paint Shop policies and protect confidential information Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment policies and standards across all department functions You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Industrial Engineering Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in an automotive paint shop, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Technical Skills
Proven wide experience of paint shop layouts, conveyor systems, robots (Fanuc, Dürr, ABB), and spraying equipment ECOAT systems with full understanding of process controls and operating parameters Understanding of coating chemistry, paint material types (water-based, solvent-based), and application techniques Soft Skills
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and lead during emergencies or breakdowns. Certifications
