Position Summary Netkom is hiring a skilled Transmission Access Engineer for a new telecom infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for ensuring seamless transmission network deployment, integration, and optimization across MW, SDH, DWDM, and IP technologies.

Detailed Job Description As a Transmission Access Engineer, you will be responsible for executing installation, commissioning, and migration activities across various transmission platforms. You’ll work closely with field teams to ensure timely delivery, troubleshoot network issues, and support link planning and design. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical expertise and coordination skills to manage multiple project tasks in a dynamic environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, commissioning, integration, and migration of transmission / access network components

Support network design, link planning, and troubleshooting activities

Coordinate with field teams to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables

Monitor and optimize performance across MW, SDH, DWDM, IP, E1, and STM technologies

Document and report technical progress and challenges to project stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must be currently available in KSA and ready to join immediately

Strong experience in Transmission and Access Networks (MW, SDH, DWDM, IP, E1, STM)

Hands‑on expertise in installation, commissioning, and migration activities

Solid understanding of network design and troubleshooting methodologies

Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities

Valid driving license is a plus

Experience with vendor-specific transmission equipment

Familiarity with telecom project management tools

Knowledge of Saudi telecom regulations and standards

Ability to train or guide field technicians

Arabic language proficiency
