We are currently seeking a highly skilled
Senior Traffic and Detour Engineer
to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all technical aspects related to detours, temporary traffic measures, intra-site traffic management, man-machine interfaces and all related matters throughout the worksite. Responsibilities
Technical control of all traffic management proposals during construction as well as final state for highway schemes and coordination of all other discipline specialists and persons responsible for quality control. Amplifies or resolves design issues, where possible, or coordinates design issues with home office support. Advises technically on design changes. Oversees and coordinates the review of the Contractor’s technical submissions, shop drawings, materials, and design submissions. Final review of all Contractor’s review drawings, schedules, or materials submittals to ensure compliance with the overall objectives of the design concepts of the project. Assessment and technical reporting on any Value Engineering proposals. Coordination with any other supervision services team. Acts as point of contact between the traffic department and the HSE Manager. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with the relevant specialty / majoring in Transport or Traffic Management and / or equivalent work experience. Applicable Experience : over 15 years in project management, particularly in mega construction projects, with a focus on onsite traffic management. Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles. Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus. Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor. Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm. Additional Requirements
Transferable Iqama in case of non-Saudi. Based in Riyadh. Valid SCE membership. Seniority Level
