MEP Engineer

Job Description

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure seamless integration within the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and coordination with multiple disciplines to achieve efficient and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site execution of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and electrical systems.
• Review and approve MEP drawings, technical documents, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets for assigned elements.
• Monitor progress to ensure adherence to time and cost targets.
• Identify and document any changes in project scope.
• Support procurement and subcontract processes, including bid evaluations and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers and technical teams across disciplines.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, supervision, and execution of technical and administrative tasks.
• Estimate manpower requirements and technical resources for project completion.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and updates for project management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Resolve technical issues and site non-conformances.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain updated as-built documentation.
