Job descriptionDevelop landscape plans : Create detailed designs and blueprints to ensure aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces. Oversee project execution : Supervise the implementation of landscape plans to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Manage team : Coordinate and manage landscape staff and contractors to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Conduct site assessments : Evaluate project sites to identify opportunities and constraints for landscape design. Select materials and plants : Choose appropriate landscaping materials and plants to meet design, environmental, and sustainability goals. Monitor project progress : Track and report on landscaping project milestones to ensure timely completion and address issues promptly. Ensure compliance : Verify that projects comply with regulatory and environmental standards to maintain legal and environmental adherence. Prepare budgets : Develop and manage project budgets to ensure financial control and proper resource allocation. Communicate with stakeholders : Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Bachelor’s degree in architecture or Agricultural Engineering, Masters is much preferrable. PMP.
Job Purpose
To lead and manage all areas of landscape design, installation, and maintenance, ensuring the creation of visually appealing, functional, and sustainable outdoor environments. The Manager, Landscape will spearhead a team of skilled professionals, collaborate closely with clients, and oversee the successful completion of projects within set timelines and budgets. This role demands a commitment to excellence, innovation, and environmental stewardship, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
