Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Manager for a project in Riyadh. This is an exciting position for a multi-talented and flexible individual who will be site-based.
The Landscape Manager will be responsible for managing the construction phase of landscape projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and accuracy. The Landscape Manager will work closely with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the designed landscape is built according to specifications and that any issues or challenges are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
What Youll Be Doing
- Manage the construction phase of landscape projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Review and approve contractor bids and proposals, and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that the designed landscape is built according to specifications and drawings.
- Oversee the work of PMCMs and the contractors and vendors for whom they are responsible, monitoring progress and ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during construction, working directly with the PMCMs and their contractors and other stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure that work is being completed according to plan.
- Monitor and report on proposed construction activities, including on-site construction, material procurement and usage against the approved project schedule.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Construction Management (PMCM) teams to ensure that the construction of the designed landscape meets all technical and design parameters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the PMO in all interactions with the PMCM teams, representing the interests of the organization and ensuring that its goals and objectives are met.
What Required Skills Youll Bring
A relevant Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Landscape Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape construction management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and techniques.A strong horticultural background and plant knowledge is essential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Project Managers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to address construction challenges.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
