Overview
The Production Coordinator plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring that Mayar Foods’ production operations run with excellence, efficiency, and safety. This role leads the alignment between production, logistics, and sales, driving the achievement of monthly and ad-hoc targets. The coordinator ensures optimal inventory management, champions health and safety practices, and fosters collaboration across departments to deliver high-quality products on time.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and Oversee day to day production activities. Allocate work to labours and packers aligned with production schedule
- Check the packaging materials quality and managing returning of damaged raw materials
- Provide direction to packers and labor teams, fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the storage of produced goods and raw materials. Follow the standard operating procedures for storage
- Oversee loading, unloading and transportation of raw materials and finished products
- Request manpower or safety equipment as necessary
- Ensure health and safety compliance for production process
- Drive proactive coordination with Production, Warehouse, and Logistics leaders to meet urgent or shifting demands.
- Manage data entry in ERP system related to production orders
- Hands on supervision of new machine installation according to plan and proper positioning in accordance with production line loop flow.
Operational Excellence & Maintenance
Oversee preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment performance.Anticipate risks and escalate maintenance requirements to management with clear impact assessments.Champion the use of ERP for accurate and timely production data entry, supporting business insights and decision-making.HSE
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedure, and standards established by the companyWear appropriate personal protective equipment (PEE) when requiredPromptly report any work-related incident, injury, or near misses to Site Safety Team or Line Manager.Job Requirements
Secondary education with diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.Training Certificate in Health & Safety Awareness.3+ years of experience in packaging machineries of an FMCG company.Technical Expertise and experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.Seniority level
