Senior Architect | Riyadh, SA

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Architect to join our team for a high-profile infrastructure project based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading architectural design activities, ensuring design quality, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage architectural design development for infrastructure-related buildings and structures (e.g., transport terminals, stations, control rooms, public amenities, etc.). Oversee design submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals. Ensure compliance with local building codes, client standards, and international best practices. Coordinate with internal disciplines (MEP, Structural, Civil) and external consultants and contractors. Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and site inspections. Provide guidance to junior architects and CAD technicians. Assist in value engineering and design optimization processes. Prepare and present design reports and documentation to stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; Master's Degree preferred. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including infrastructure or public sector projects. Strong knowledge of building codes, design standards, and construction methodologies in KSA. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and other architectural design software. Strong understanding of interdisciplinary coordination and technical integration. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Previous experience working in a consultancy environment, preferably with multinational firms.
