Technician II - Entertainment & Events

Overview

JOB SUMMARY

The Entertainment Technician- E & E to ensure the seamless operation of all technical aspects related to live entertainment and events within the park. This position plays a pivotal role in providing, strategic, planning, and operational excellence to support the department's goals and enhance the guest experience.

At Six Flags Qiddiya City, the Entertainment technician will be responsible for operating all technical aspects of live entertainment productions and special events, including audio, lighting, video, rigging, and show control systems including show props. This role ensures seamless technical execution that meets world-class standards, enhances guest experiences, and aligns with safety, quality, and creative expectations.

• Pre-opening : Experience with one or more of the following : lighting, sound, video projection, control systems, or special effects.

• Pre-opening : Comfortable to work at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors as required.

• Pre-opening : Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Pre-opening : Set up, operate, and maintain technical systems for live shows and events, including audio, lighting, video, and special effects equipment.
• Pre-opening : Execute show calls and technical cues in coordination with entertainment technical supervisor, stage management and performance teams.
• Pre-opening : Support rehearsals, show runs by ensuring equipment is correctly configured and functioning.
• Pre-opening : Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all entertainment technical assets including show props to ensure operational readiness.
• Pre-opening : Report technical faults and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Pre-opening : Follow all health, safety and operational procedures as directed by supervisors and managers
• Pre-opening : Assist in the setup of temporary systems for seasonal and special events, ensuring tidy and safe installations.
• Pre-opening : Ensure all installations and technical operations adhere to the brand’s creative and technical standards.
• Pre-opening : Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reporting needs for technical equipment- spare and consumables.
• Pre-opening : Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, supervisors, and other entertainment staff to deliver high-quality guest experiences.
