EWS technician

Overview

The EWS Technician Senior will be responsible for operations and maintenance of Electronic Warfare and radar systems. The EWS Technician Senior will perform on-the-job training on location and train junior staff as required. Responsibilities

Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations Operate and maintain the Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS) Advise customer on current and future electronic warfare capabilities Train customer personnel and provide on-the-job training on EWS Work as part of a team; specific duties include satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled tasks within a customer environment Undertake individually or as part of a team EW / radar maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures Check tools / GSE prior to maintenance activities for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct use Perform electrical assembly and integration Perform first level Quality inspection and functional tests of EW / radar system Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instruments and flight control systems Conduct factory and onsite acceptance tests Ensure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of Airbus Conduct on-the-job training activity Guide junior technicians as needed Other duties as assigned This job requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
