Job description

PURPOSE

The Senior Sales Specialist plays a key role in driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients. The role focuses on generating new opportunities, managing high-value accounts, and ensuring that client needs are met through tailored solutions

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial offers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable deals
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on trends, competitors, and client needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Support junior sales team members with guidance and knowledge sharing when needed
  • Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and networking activities
  • Provide monthly performance reports and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager

INTERACTION

Internal : Collaborates closely with the Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align client needs, pricing structures, and delivery timelines

External : Engages with existing and potential clients, partners, and vendors to promote company offerings and secure new business opportunities

PREREQUISITES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 7–9 years of experience in sales, preferably in events
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding annual sales targets
  • Experience handling key accounts and complex B2B deals
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Odoo)
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and client acquisition
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking with a results‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Customer‑focused approach with strong relationship‑building capabilities
  • Confidence in handling high‑value deals and complex client requirements
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced and competitive environment
  • Mentorship skills to support less experienced team members
  • INDIVIDUAL ANNUAL PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

  • Sales targets and revenue goals
  • Number of new clients acquired per quarter
  • Client retention rate and satisfaction score
  • Win‑rate ratio between proposals submitted and deals closed
