Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and decisive General Manager to lead our operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the General Manager of Mövenpick Jeddah City Star hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, ensuring operational excellence, and driving strategic growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and maximize profitability
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes and superior customer experiences
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across all departments
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share and revenue
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and local authorities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence throughout the organization
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager, preferably in a luxury or premium hospitality settingBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related fieldProven track record of successfully managing budgets and driving financial performanceStrong knowledge of rooms, sales & marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, and food & beverage servicesExcellent leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate a dynamic teamDemonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementing performance-driven initiativesStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in analyzing data and generating actionable insightsAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentFluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is a plusFamiliarity with Saudi Arabian business practices and culture is advantageousEligibility to work in Saudi ArabiaSeniority level
