We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh. Job Summary

Senior Health & Safety Coordinator helps the implementation of ESH management programs, systems and processes; provides the technical oversight of the environment, safety and health activities; and provides the overall support for a specific area to be successful in controlling the risk of harm to people, property and the environment. Major Responsibilities

Produce inspection reports as required. Participate in meetings, identify and report on ESH requirements, and produce minutes. Produce weekly HSE reports for areas under responsibility. Support contractors to produce their weekly & monthly reports. Support contractors with their incident investigations and reports. Actively helps Terminals HSE Manager in the implementation of the ESH program. Monitors the implementation of the ESH program and reports successes and areas of improvement. Identifies best practices for implementation. Maintains a working relationship with contractors, customer representatives, other functions and other ESH team members. Support Terminals HSE Manager as with other tasks as required. Education And Experience Requirements

Internationally recognized ES&H certification, NEBOSH International Certification General (IGC), IOSH or other internally recognized ES&H qualification to meet the requirements of these positions. A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role. Required Knowledge And Skills

Previous work experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the middle east. Capable of working in a diverse team generating a collaborative work culture to support the wider project team. Candidates will be familiar with undertaking focused inspections, assessments, audits as required by the Project ES&H Director and / or delegated Terminal HSE Manager. Leadership skills to enable a team to be successful - coach, mentor, participate, direct. Attributes that openly display ESH as a personal value. Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, targets and objectives. Knowledge of ES&H management systems. Knowledge of national and international safety laws / regulations and regulatory agencies’ regulatory requirements and responsibilities, industry standards / current practices for safety / health, and best management practices for minimizing potential safety / health risks during project execution. Knowledge of construction systems, methods, and work processes. Knowledge of hazardous materials and physical risks and the mechanisms to mitigate them.
