Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is in search of a highly skilled and motivated ELV Technical Services Director to oversee the ELV Design within our exciting projects. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation of Next-Gen ICT technologies of our different hotel projects technical services, particularly in the design related to Qiddiya's diverse entertainment offerings. The ELV Director will lead a talented team, managing key technical ELV design aspects and compliance with local and international standards. The successful candidate should possess a strong background in hotel ELV technical know-how with proven innovation expertise along with a passion for driving digital innovation and integrated energy-efficiency technologies. Responsibilities

Oversee the development and planning of ELV discipline in accordance with Qiddiya HBU development project, vision and strategic objectives Oversee the definition of the initial development project cost, schedule and design requirements for the ELV scope Oversee interfaces with internal Development, Operators, Planning and Commercial teams and external consultants as required to manage the development requirements and wider project integration and alignment Oversee the definition and implementation of the appropriate ELV Technical Services management processes and procedures to guide Qiddiya HBU activities thus enabling effective and consistent service delivery Oversee the management of collaborative efforts with Development lead, Tech Services lead and DPMO to define ELV priorities, budget and timelines, and for the provision of project management services, including scheduling, cost management, systems implementation, and document control in line with ELV design principles, objectives and required guidelines Oversee the project performance monitoring efforts to ensure delivery within allocated budget and timeframe. Oversee the management of a regular stream of communications and meetings with ELV team and the respective stakeholders and address any outstanding issues on seconded resources, ongoing projects and implementation of ELV best practices and standards, as applicable. Oversee the provision of the required technical expertise and support during the planning, design and construction phases of the projects Oversee the management of the design-based activities for outsourced design packages, including design reviews and technical approvals as required whilst ensuring adherence to regulations and design guidelines Oversee the definition of technical specifications for all ELV scope in alignment with Qiddiya guidelines and ensure they are reflected in the contractual documents issued to external designers and contractors Oversee Value Engineering initiatives for ELV related scope to ensure significant reduction in cost while maintaining required quality standards Oversee the dissemination of ELV standards and specifications and their conformance Oversee the development of contractual terms and requirements for ELV scope and work closely with the Procurement team throughout the tendering process. Oversee the technical support activities and decision making including assessments and recommendations in the event of major variations during the construction phase Oversee the liaison efforts with relevant regulatory authorities to gain approval on the design plans and processes for all ELV scope Oversee the evaluation of delivered ELV scope and implement best practice and continuous improvement strategies Provide guidance to the ELV staff in completion of their respective tasks. Oversee and ensure the effective and efficient accomplishment of the team's respective duties Keep the Senior Tech Services Director informed of significant ELV related issues that may jeopardize the achievement of Qiddiya HBU goals Perform any other related tasks as directed by the Senior Technical Services Director Produce, review, approve and sign-off project reports as part of the wider departmental reporting regime as required. Monitor and report against assigned KPIs. Keep current with the latest laws, regulations, leading practices, and applicable standards related to ELV Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field; Master's Degree preferred Minimum 10 years of experience and proven leadership skills with managing diverse projects for economy to High-Luxury Hotels Strong knowledge of technical design and codes / standards related to ELV Hotel Design Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, financial management, and cost control practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relationships across various teams Experience with data analytics and performance management systems to optimize operational efficiency Proven capability in resolving technical challenges and making strategic decisions effectively Benefits
