We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description : Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Estimator to join our team! In this role you will support the estimation process by performing a variety of estimating tasks on a major project. What You'll Be Doing : Quantity Takeoffs : Prepares material takeoffs from drawings, plans, and specifications for assigned project components.

Scope Analysis : Assists in reviewing contractual documents to determine project scope, exclusions, and potential changes.

Cost Breakdown : Develops basic component-level estimates, including assigning rates and performing necessary calculations.

Vendor Engagement : Contacts suppliers and subcontractors to obtain price quotations for materials, labor, and services.

Historical Data Management : Collects and organizes historical cost information to support future estimates and refine database accuracy.

Documentation & Reporting : Maintains estimate logs and supports preparation of bid packages and cost summaries.

Team Collaboration : Works with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment and consistency in estimating approaches.

Learning & Development : Receives guidance from senior estimators and actively builds knowledge of company procedures and industry best practices.

What Required Skills You'll Bring : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

5 years of relevant experience in estimating or related project controls functions.

Strong analytical and math skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools is a plus.
