Position Overview The Project Accountant will administer the whole project accounting cycle, coordinate month-end and year-end closing of project accounts, submit monthly financial analysis for project accounting, and implement and execute project closing procedures. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers (PMs) and technical staff to prepare monthly management reporting packages for assigned projects, as well as assist with special projects and castings. Preparing annual and mid-year budgets is essential to this role.
Responsibilities
Generate accurate and timely project budgets for approval.
Provide forecasts for gross revenue, contribution, and cash flow on a monthly basis.
Prepare and submit monthly reports.
Coordinate invoicing and billing schedules and reconcile accounts receivable.
Collaborate with PMs and finance / contracts departments to ensure all financial instruments are up-to-date and reflect project requirements.
Track all commitments in detail.
Assist in preparing financial documentation and analysis as needed.
Minimum Qualifications The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
