Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Automotive Engineering. 5–8 years of experience in telematics, IoT, or fleet management technology. Minimum 2 years in a leadership or team lead position. Knowledge of IoT communication protocols such as CANbus, RS232, RS485, MQTT, and TCP / IP. Familiarity with telematics platforms (Ruptela, Teltonika, AWS IoT, Wasl integration). Experience with QA testing, documentation, and hardware / software integration. Technical leadership and team coordination IoT solution design and validation Quality assurance and testing Hardware and software integration Root cause analysis and troubleshooting Data interpretation and reporting Vendor and stakeholder communication Mid-Senior level Full-time Information Technology Software Development
Lead the design, customization, and validation of fleet management and IoT solutions. Ensure that new devices, configurations, and integrations meet company standards and customer requirements. Supervise technical testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities for all deployed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to develop and test IoT and telematics solutions.
- Translate operational and client needs into technical requirements.
- Oversee integration between telematics hardware, sensors, and fleet management platforms.
- Establish and maintain QA standards for configurations, installations, and firmware validation.
- Conduct lab and field testing for new devices and updates.
- Support operations and installation teams with advanced troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with vendors and R&D partners for firmware or feature enhancements.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and testing records.
- Identify process improvements and new IoT technologies to enhance fleet solutions.
- Provide training and technical guidance to support engineers and installation staff.
