The Spool Cable Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, spooling, and maintenance of wireline cables used in oilfield operations. Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain spooling equipment to handle wireline cables during preparation and retrieval.
- Inspect cables for damage, wear, and compliance with operational standards.
- Perform cable maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tension adjustments.
- Ensure proper cable storage and transportation to prevent damage and maintain serviceability.
- Maintain accurate records of cable usage, inspections, and repairs.
- Adhere to Weatherford's safety policies and industry regulations during all operations.
- Troubleshoot cable-related issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
- Support inventory management for wireline cables and related equipment.
