Role Summary

The L3 IMS Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting Storage (SAN, NAS, ECS) systems in a regulated banking environment. The role ensures the availability, performance, security, and compliance of mission-critical storage infrastructure while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for Storage (SAN, NAS, ECS) in a highly regulated banking estate .
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS , SWIFT , and local banking regulations .
• Operate within ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge).
• Maintain high availability and performance ; participate in DR / BCP drills .
• Design, architect , and optimize storage solutions for large-scale banking workloads.
• Lead major incidents , guide L1 / L2 teams , and create post-incident reports .
• Define standards , automation , and golden configurations to reduce manual toil.
• Own capacity planning , version upgrades , performance baselining , and disaster recovery strategy .
