About the Role
The EQS Assurance Manager begins the day by reviewing project documentation, aligning with stakeholders on quality and safety standards, conducting site visits to assess EHS compliance, tracking safety performance metrics, and participating in risk assessments. The manager collaborates on audits, maintains compliance with KSA regulations, and plans continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain EHS standards and ensure site EHS documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Project Management and EQS organization, and contribute to internal and external audits.
- Travel to project sites to support implementation of standards, identify risks, and define corrective measures.
- Investigate incidents (injuries, near misses, critical observations), record them, define and monitor corrective measures, and assess supplier and partner EHS performance.
- Participate in crisis management exercises, educate external stakeholders, and collaborate on defining EHS requirements for contractors with SCM oversight.
- Ensure compliance with KSA‑specific quality standards and local data law requirements, aligning with Product Lines Quality Managers.
Qualifications
A professional holds an Engineering Degree or at least a 3‑year diploma in Health & Safety or a similar background, with over 5 years of practical experience supporting Power Generation project operations.Capable of supporting project teams with site safety assessments, maintaining company global standards while managing documentation and compliance systems.In‑depth knowledge of EHS practices and policies required for power plant construction & operation (permit‑to‑work, log‑out tag‑out). Oversee quality management and document control for power plant projects.Experience conducting EHS internal audits, on‑site inspections, and familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 quality management systems.Strong communication, presentation skills, working proficiency in English, and advantageous skills in Arabic.Benefits & Rewards
