Ensure emphasis on customer focus with the aim of providing a timely, cost effective service. Coordinate and facilitate the assigned major contract job explanation meetings, negotiation, documents and facilitates resolution of issues arising. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop, negotiate, and manage all commercial agreements / contracts to mitigate risk and optimize opportunities.
Analyze contractor performance and recommend improvements
Analyze and identify areas for improvements and / or saving opportunities
Validate and resolve the assigned contractor claims to support satisfactory settlements.
Ensure good practice and strict controls are implemented in relation to change orders, variations, claims, etc. (including the assessment of fee claims and advising on dispute resolution)
Follow and comply with Company Controls Department procedures and suggest updates or integrations deemed beneficiary.
Maintain good relations and facilitate exchange of information between company and contractors and internally to assure alignment of strategic objectives.
Develop proposed contract types and perform cost analysis to support decision making.
Comply with Lines and Limits of Authority
Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are executed in compliance with SASREF policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
Conduct, update, monitor and maintain all matters related to assigned contracts and contract tendering to ensure they are procured in line with the contracting plan and strategy and awarded to a competent contractor.
Develop negotiation strategies with full commercial analysis and employ high commercial negotiation skills for the best interest if SASREF
Safety, Workplace and Process Ensure that measures to protect personal safety and well-being are always in place and that personal actions do not jeopardize the safety and well-being of others.
Adhere strictly to all IOWs, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions - thus preventing potential WPS and PSM incidents at all times.
Always comply with the SASREF HSE Policy, the 5 Safety Principles and 8 Golden Safety Rules.
Cybersecurity Maintain SASREF’s cybersecurity by implementing security best practices.
Adhere strictly to all cybersecurity requirements while dealing with SASREF’s assets and data
Comply always with SASREF’s information security policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 4 years’ experience in pre and post-award administration of contracts
