Engineer II, Steel Unit

Responsibilities

• Policies, Processes & Procedures

Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work environment.

Interpret architectural and structural blueprints to determine rebar requirements, including quantities, dimensions, bends, and placements.

Select and oversee the use of rebar cutting / bending machinery (e.g., Bench Cutting & Bending Machine) for precision and efficiency and allocate the work order.

Conduct inspections to ensure rebar cutting and bending meet specifications, such as lap lengths, bend radii, and cover distances.

Enforce safety protocols, including proper equipment handling and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.
