Observability Delivery Lead

Job Description

The Observability Delivery Lead will be responsible for driving and managing observability solution deliveries across engagements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role demands a balance of technical leadership, delivery governance, and client management, ensuring that observability initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes, improve system reliability, and strengthen operational maturity across enterprise and cloud Environments. This role is pivotal in bridging client expectations with delivery excellence, enabling the Cloud Business Services Practice to scale its observability offerings and sustain a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Delivery Leadership
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all observability deliveries within client engagements.
• Conduct discovery workshops with client stakeholders to capture business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate client requirements into actionable delivery roadmaps aligned with defined KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs.
• Drive end-to-end delivery governance, quality assurance, and risk management through structured reporting and review mechanisms.
• Technical Leadership & Solution Design
• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of enterprise-grade observability solutions leveraging tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic Stack (ELK / EFK), Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics and / or any other Observability tools.
• Ensure optimal monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting across hybrid and multicloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Promote best practices for instrumentation, data visualization, and automation in observability pipelines.
• Team Management & Capability Development
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional delivery team, ensuring alignment delivery standards and practices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Support the CCoE in developing reusable frameworks, accelerators, and service blueprints to enhance delivery efficiency and repeatability. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Manage relationships with client leadership, PMO, and vendor ecosystem partners.
• Oversee commercial and contractual engagements with observability tool vendors and service partners.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues impacting delivery timelines and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in AI-driven Observability, AIOps, FinOps, and performance analytics.
• Contribute to building the Observability Delivery Playbook for standardized delivery models.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, process optimization, and adoption of new-age observability technologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering

(mandatory).

• A Master’s degree or MBA in Technology Management is preferred.

Experience

• 10–14 years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in observability,

monitoring, or APM solution delivery.

• At least 3 years in a delivery leadership or project management capacity,

managing large-scale enterprise or managed service deliveries.

• Proven experience delivering observability solutions across hybrid or multi-cloud

ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of ITSM, DevOps, and CI / CD principles and how observability

integrates into service reliability engineering.

Preferred Certifications

• Dynatrace Associate or Professional Certification
• Splunk Certified Admin / Observability Cloud Certified
• AWS / Azure / GCP Cloud Practitioner or Architect Certification
