Sales Director - Ingredients - Saudi Arabia
A leading global ingredients company is seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive its commercial strategy and growth across the Middle East. This role is responsible for overseeing regional sales performance, managing key customer relationships, and steering commercial development in a rapidly expanding market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional sales organisation and set the commercial strategy for Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners
- Identify and execute new business opportunities across priority food and beverage categories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including technical, applications, marketing, and supply chain - to deliver customer solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional dynamics to inform strategic decision-making
- Ensure strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and delivery of revenue and profitability targets
Requirements
Extensive commercial leadership experience within food ingredients, flavours, FMCG, or adjacent B2B sectorsDemonstrated success driving growth and managing complex customer portfolios in the Middle EastStrong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teamsExcellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to build long‑term partnershipsBased in Riyadh or open to relocationWhy this Role
