Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Director of Sales to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
- Conduct site visits, sales trips, and FAM trips to promote hotel products and services
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales in setting and achieving departmental goals and budgets
- Oversee the development of compelling proposals and contracts for clients
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business prospects
- Ensure seamless communication between the sales team and other hotel departments
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance the hotel's visibility
- Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training new sales team members
- Handle high-level client negotiations and resolve complex customer issues
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleProven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targetsStrong understanding of the hospitality industry and sales strategiesExcellent leadership, communication, and presentation skillsProficiency in sales management software and MS Office SuiteDemonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategiesExperience in managing and motivating high-performing sales teamsStrong negotiation and problem-solving skillsFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plusCultural awareness and adaptability to work effectively in a diverse environmentAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyWillingness to travel as required for sales activities and client meetingsAdditional Information
