Operator II, Body Shop – CEER This role is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, tools, and equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards to ensure efficient production. It also includes performing inspections, identifying defects, and taking corrective actions to maintain product quality.
Key Functional Responsibilities
Operate machinery, equipment, and tools according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete assigned production tasks efficiently and accurately.
Inspect components, parts, and finished products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying defects and taking corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, tools, and workstations, preventing accidents and ensuring operational efficiency.
Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to hazardous material handling guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities, defects, downtime, and quality inspections, to support continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to resolve production or equipment issues and ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor equipment and production processes, adjusting or troubleshooting minor problems to maintain efficiency and quality.
Education
Diploma or High School in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or industrial operations or equivalent.
Experience
0-2 years of relevant experience in a relevant field.
