Project Lead Engineer

Job descriptionEnsure that all project phases (mobilization, execution, completion) are carried out effectively and in line with client and company standards. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and HSE teams to align work scope and scheduling. Team Leadership Conduct toolbox talks, daily briefings, and quality inspections. Train and mentor team members on insulation techniques and safety practices. Planning & Coordination Monitor project milestones and report any delays or changes to the Project Manager. Coordinate site logistics and equipment needed for insulation works. Documentation & Reporting Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and client requirements. Participate in client meetings, progress reviews, and audits. Quality & Safety Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures. Report and investigate incidents or near misses on site. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience in insulation project execution, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of insulation materials, systems, and installation methods (mineral wool, cellular glass, PIR, etc.). Familiar with industry standards Proficient in reading technical drawings, isometrics, and specifications. Good understanding of HSE procedures and site compliance requirements. Leadership and team coordination Project scheduling and resource planning Communication and client-facing skills Attention to detail and quality focus Problem-solving under pressure Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Outlook, MS Project preferred) Site-based role; requires working in high-temperature or industrial environments. Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours as needed. PPE use is mandatory. Travel to project sites may be required.

The Project Lead will be responsible for managing site teams, subcontractors, and materials while maintaining client satisfaction and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Project Execution
Oversee all insulation activities, including hot, cold, cryogenic, acoustic, and fireproofing applications.
Supervise insulation crews and subcontractors; assign daily tasks and monitor progress.
Develop work schedules, manpower plans, and material requirement forecasts.
Maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection reports, and material consumption logs.
Enforce quality assurance and safety protocols across all insulation works.
