As a Project Engineer (E2), you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams to meet project goals.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, specifications, and change orders.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during projects.
- Monitor project functions including Project Management, Site Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management to meet project goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting standards.
- Coordinate project groups on major regional projects.
- Communicate project status, trends, and changes with regional and site management.
- Monitor engineering progress against budget and schedule.
- Prepare engineering budgets, schedules, and control budgets.
- Coordinate engineering activities with other departments and maintain communication with construction teams.
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical assistance.
- Advise and support other departments technically.
- Ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.Minimum 10 years' experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects.Minimum 5 years' experience in water and wastewater projects.Knowledge of professional project management processes.Experience with zero-accident safety philosophies.Engagement with government entities or utility providers.Excellent bilingual skills in Arabic and English.Experience working internationally.Seniority level
