MAIN TASKS

• Actively advising and assisting in all aspects of his specialty.
• Monitoring and analyzing factors that affect operational availability, Mobile Integrated Defense system performance, support chain performance, and recommending / implementing corrective actions locally but also with the team located in UK.
• Evaluating performance of Mobile Integrated Defense systems, data handling and communication equipment.
• Monitoring the Built-In Test equipment / software, analyze the results and recommend improvements.
• Performing intermediate level maintenance (Field Maintenance FM) in his specialty as required.
• Perform diagnostic checks, specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the Mobile Integrated Defense to ensure it remain operationally ready.
• Diagnosis and isolates complex electronic problems between the hardware, software and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) using a variety of electronic repair and fault isolation procedures such as system diagnostics, unit self-checks, BITE, and tools and test equipment.
• Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and travel to remote sites to perform software maintenance, troubleshooting, and On the Job Training (OJT).
• To ensure the readiness of the Mobile Integrated Defense system, communicate with the Contractor Experts in Europe to find solutions and fix malfunctions in case the engineer is unable to remedy errors alone.
