Expert System Engineer – Mobile Integrated Defense

Location : Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Main Tasks

  • Support the MTSD team by advising and assisting in all aspects of the specialty.
  • Monitor and analyze factors affecting operational availability and system performance, recommending corrective actions.
  • Evaluate performance of Mobile Integrated Defense systems and communication equipment.
  • Monitor Built-In Test equipment / software, analyze results, and suggest improvements.
  • Perform intermediate level maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure operational readiness.
  • Diagnose and isolate complex electronic problems involving hardware, software, and LRUs.
  • Support Mobile Maintenance Team functions, including travel to remote sites for troubleshooting and training.
  • Coordinate with European experts for solutions and malfunctions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or Weapon Technology.
  • Specialized training and certification in weapon systems and related equipment.
  • Fluent in English; French and Arabic are advantages.

    • Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in operational and maintenance of weapon systems and communication equipment.
  • Experience with installation, testing, integration, upgrades, and modifications of weapon systems.
  • Knowledge of weapon system LRUs and associated subsystems.
  • Experience in complex, multicultural environments.
